Unley Primary School benefits from a rich variety of cultural backgrounds.

On Thursday the 21st of March, Unley Primary School will celebrate Harmony Day and the diversity of our students and families. It is about community participation, inclusiveness, celebrating diversity, respect and belonging.

On this day, students can wear the colour orange or traditional cultural dress to show their support for Harmony Day. Gold coin donations will support the Rotary WASH clean water campaign.

Clean water, sanitation, and hygiene education are basic necessities for a healthy environment and a productive life”. Over 785 million people around the world don’t have access to clean water leading to unsanitary living conditions and diseases.

The Rotary Club is changing the world with their WASH (Water, Sanitation, Hygiene) program across schools around the world. On Harmony Day, 21st March we are asking our Unley families to help make a difference to children in schools by supporting the WASH program. Children are invited to bring in a donation or families can donate via QRK.

It only takes $24 to provide a child with access to clean water, imagine how many children’s lives we can change!
