If you have taken a walk around the neighbourhood recently, you may have noticed some carefully crafted chalk drawings illuminating your path.

We know that one of the artists behind these beautiful creations is five-year-old Louisa, a reception student at Unley Primary.

Louisa has found that leaving messages is a great way to spread some joy and keep in touch with her classmates while many families are staying home from school and following social distancing advice.

We have also heard that some good old fashioned letter writing and delivering is happening between kids in our school community! Some pen pals are even leaving books with personal recommendations in one another’s letterboxes.

Pictured here is Louisa’s artwork that she created for her classmates Ned and Ella. Well done, Louisa, and thank you for brightening our day with this good news story!
