On November 12, a group of dedicated families braved the elements to help give the Nature Play Space a makeover. Our working bee started off well, and although we had a fair bit of rain later in the day, most of the heavy lifting was complete before the heavens opened.

Many wheelbarrows, shovels and rakes were deployed by parents and children alike. Soon a large truckload of much was spread arounds the garden beds and the river bed was replenished with river stones. A small garden shed was also erected that will house cubby building equipment in the future.

We’d like to say a huge thanks to all of the parents and children that offered a helping hand on the day and our fabulous facilities committee for their organisation.
