Our SRC fundraiser in Term 3 involved supporting the Cancer Council. This foundation helps people impacted by cancer and also supports their family. For this event, students could wear crazy hair styles, wigs or hats and bring a gold coin donation to school. We saw some pretty wild hair! This fundraiser was a big hit and most of the school participated in the fun, including teachers and school staff!

Our donation goal was to raise over $700. As a school, we ended up raising $715.35 which was a great achievement by our community, exceeding our goal. This shows what a great school community we have – full of people who were willing to support this great cause.

The SRC Executive team would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who donated. The money raised will help go towards creating a cancer free future and allow the Cancer Council to continue to provide various support services as an organisation. We look forward to presenting our donations to the Cancer Council team at our next assembly.

This turned out to be a really successful and fun fundraiser! Thank you, everyone.

Kind Regards,

The SRC Executive team
