Our SRC fundraiser in Term 4 involved supporting the Dalousu Village in the Solomon Islands. We have supported the Dalousu Village for a number of years now in partnership with the Unley Rotary Club. For this event, students could wear crazy hair styles, wigs or hats and bring a donation to school. We saw some pretty wild hair! This fundraiser was a big hit and most of the school participated in the fun, including teachers and school staff!

As a school, we ended up raising $1158.65 which was a great achievement by our community. This shows what a great school community we have – full of people who were willing to support this great cause. The money raised will go towards purchasing vital medication to combat malaria along with infrastructure for clean drinking water for the Dalousu Village.

The SRC Executive team would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who donated and got involved in Crazy Hair Day.
