Congratulations to Year 5 student Banita Narula, who has won the second place award for her art piece on endangered species. Banita entered the Age 9-11 category, exploring of the theme ‘wildlife conservation’:

Banita has spoken about her love of tigers and orangutans to highlight what The Orangutan Project is doing to save orangutans, rainforests and other wildlife.

There were 430 entries from all over the world (Argentina, Australia, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain, UK and USA), including 12 school groups from Australia, UK and Portugal.

We are proud of Banita and the difference she and other students are making.
