This week the Year 2 classes in the Peppertree Building participated in a Bees Wax Wrap Workshop with Jo from KESAB. Students created their practical and eco-friendly food wraps by first making personalised nature and food inspired designs on fabric squares, then brushing with layers of bees wax and setting with a hot iron. The students are thrilled to have their own plastic-free wraps and have already started using them every day at school! Thank you to Unley Council for funding our incursion and your continued support to help reduce our waste to landfill at Unley Primary School.
