We have yet another beautiful garden area to celebrate at Unley Primary School, thanks to some enterprising Year 3 students.

Andre, Max, Lucas and Louis approached Peter early in the term to discuss their ideas for a garden in a relatively neglected part of the school – just behind the sand-pit on Campus 2. The boys subsequently presented a few design options and then worked with a paving expert from Programmed Services to build a pathway. This formed the base for the garden which was enriched with some good quality soil.

The work crew then collaborated with Max’s dad, Mark Rodda, and together they positioned the log seats and a magnificent array of succulent plants, all courtesy of Mark.

We thank Max, Louis, Lucas and Andre for their creative energy around this project. They are rightly very proud of the new garden. We are also most appreciative of Mark’s generosity in bringing this to fruition. A great team effort!
