Dear Families
As you may be aware the Government’s Free childcare will end on the 12th July. This will mean that our normal fees and cancellation policies will come back into effect from that date which is week 2 of Vacation Care.
Some things to note:
No cancellations will be accepted for Vacation Care from Monday 29th June. Any non-attendances or cancellations from the date will be charged as per normal.
Direct debits will recommence on the week of Monday 6th July and will be for the week 2 Vacation Care bookings.
We will recommence normal statements as of Friday 3rd July (this will include 3 weeks, 29th June, 6th July and 13th July)
The Government will also ease the activity test until 4 October to support eligible families whose employment has been impacted as a result of COVID-19. These families will receive up to 100 hours per fortnight of subsidised care during this period. This will assist families to return to the level of work, study or training they were undertaking before COVID-19. Please ensure you have updated your details with Centrelink to receive the correct level of subsidy that you are entitled to during this time.
ACTIONS REQUIRED FROM FAMILIES:
- Please ensure that you have updated your Centrelink details and have accepted YMCA as your service provider through MyGov
- Please ensure you have up to date direct debit details with YMCA
- Please book Vacation Care spots as soon as you are able to allow us to staff and organise activities
