Thanks to the Unley Primary School community, we delivered 352 kilograms of donated goods to Foodbank at the halfway point of our Food Drive. Fantastic everyone! That equates to 704 meals for South Australians in need.

Here is a message from Foodbank: “We can’t wait to see the rest of the school drive and can’t thank all of the school students and parents enough for the support.”

In addition to the donated goods, the Student Representative Council organised a Casual Clothes Day fundraiser on Friday 5th June with gold coin donations, raising $876 for Foodbank!

The CEO of Foodbank SA, Greg Pattinson, attended School Assembly (via Zoom) on Thursday and provided some great insight into the Foodbank operations and thanks to the Unley Primary School community.

Our Food Drive continues till the 19th of June, so keep up the great work with donations, in particular: cereal, long life milk, tuna, canned foods – including beans, spaghetti, meals, pasta and pasta sauce, tinned fruit and vegetables, toiletries – including sanitary products, toilet paper, toothbrushes.
