Last week there was a bit of excitement when the Tommy’s Garden mural was unveiled.

Port Elliot based artist, Richard John, has been working on a mural commissioned by our Facilities Committee, to tell a short version of the Tommy story. Please follow the link below for further information about the life and times of Tommy the elephant.

The final components of the garden makeover includes a sculpture by artist Ty Manning, and some signage to make it clear to the wider community that this is Unley Primary School space, as there has been some uncertainty about this. We are grateful for the support of the state government’s “Fund My Neighbourhood” grant that we secured in 2018, making this development possible.

When everything is assembled, we will have an opening of sorts to celebrate the installation of our public art works. Stay tuned!
