Room 24 students have been exploring vocabulary in a range of texts.

We’ve been expanding our vocabulary bank, as well as inquiring into why authors choose particular words when writing.

We found lots of interesting vocabulary in our class mentor text, “Girl on Wire”, and then started a vocabulary wall for students to refer to when writing. We had great fun using www.thesaurus.com !
