A cold and wet Friday night couldn’t deter more than 250 members of our community from bringing their beanbags and cushions, to attend our first Family Movie Night in the Sports Art Centre. ‘Ralph Breaks the Internet’ was thoroughly enjoyed by children and adults alike. The viewing was made even better on a cinematic style screen, kindly donated by Mario Valenti from NW Group. The event was a huge success raising a huge $3,556.43 which will be used to continue the improvement of play spaces at UPS.
Thanks to the generous support from our community; including Bakers Delight Unley, Mitcham Foodland, Woolworths Unley, Kidzone Unley and kikki.K. Thank you to SRC reps for running a ‘Guess the Lolly Competition’, which was very popular. Special mention also goes to hardworking committee members and parents Bianca Harms, Sam Kopsaftis, Lucy Appleton, Stacey Tsonis, Kaylah Kopsaftis, Lara Strever, Caroline Manuel, Winnie Altamura and staff members Dale O’Connor, Peter O’Sullivan, Abbe Staugas, Julie Porteous and Amy Reid. Without their efforts the event wouldn’t have been possible!
