Our school’s Annual General Meeting will be held in the Library on Tuesday 19th February at 7pm. We will commence with Welcome Drinks followed by the formal part of the meeting at 7.30pm
We would love to see as many parents as possible attending, to hear about achievements across 2018 and plans for 2019. We will also elect our Governing Council and sub committees for the current year. I urge you to consider becoming part of either Council or one of our sub committees. In my experience, schools with a healthy participation of parents at this level ultimately provide for a strong school culture which supports all students in achieving their best.
We will look forward to working collaboratively with staff and our parent community as a productive and energetic team. Sub committees currently in place include:
- Education and Wellbeing Committee
- Facilities Committee
- Finance Committee
- Community and Fundraising Committee
- Sport Committee
Meeting times are usually negotiated by the members of the group at the first meeting. Please get in touch with Peter (0401 121 191) should you wish to discuss these roles further.
You may wish to be on more than one committee. We do hope we will have on Governing Council at least one member from each committee.
A hard copy note went home to all families last week. Written nominations are due in by Monday 18th February. You may wish to use the form attached to that form or email your nomination to firstname.lastname@example.org
