Exciting news! We have received the Premier’s Reading Challenge Certificates and medals and these will be handed to children next Thursday to wear to our assembly. A big congratulations to students who read 12 books from a wide selection of titles and genres and completed the challenge over the past 9 months. It requires risk taking, perseverance and good organisation.

Friday 1st of December marks the end of activities in the Library. We are asking students to return all borrowed books by this Friday. This includes any take home reading books. We ask that you assist your child to hunt high and low if they have an overdue book. Overdue notes will be sent out over the next few days. If a book is lost we ask that you pay $5 towards the cost of a replacement book.

Thanks for your support in encouraging your child as a reader. I hope you find some time to read aloud together over the Christmas break, visit your local library or a good bookshop.
