In Week 5, students in Rooms, 14, 15 and 17 were fortunate enough to create their own ‘Stop Animations.’

Students learnt about the ‘zoetrope’ a cardboard object that was invented by Mr Walt Disney. This was one of the first devices to make a series of still pictures look like they’re moving.

They used a variety of jungle themed backgrounds and wild animals to tell their story.

Each student made a short animation, slightly shifting their characters for each frame. Students used 12 frames or photos per second.

A highly engaging task, enjoyed by all!
